HOLDER, June (maiden?)

Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Mrs. June E. Holder, 73, of 304 Water, was found dead in bed at her home about 12:30 p.m. Sunday (July 30, 1972) by her sister, Mrs. Grace Clinton of Attica. Fountain County Coroner Robert Shelby set the time of her death at 11 a.m. Sunday, apparently of a heart attack. She was born June 29, 1899, near French Lick. She resided in Orange County before coming to Attica 52 years ago. She was married to William Holder, who died in 1958. Mrs. Holder owned and operated Junes Tavern since 1933. She was a member of Cane Creek Christian Church in Orange County, a charter member of the Auxiliary of the Attica Eagles Lodge and a charter member of the Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Board. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Helen Allen of West Lafayette. Services Wednesday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vernon Lallement officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.  --waw
